Greece or Spain
Discussion
Right i have travelled most of Greece absolutely love the place, been to Ibiza and torremolinos in Spain but not my thing. So is there anywhere in Spain that would compare to Greece as in the chilled out factor but with things to do nearby.I love resorts surrounded by trees, forests, scenery and a relaxed ambience.Im considering Spain as its such a simple flight with a busy 3year old in tow.So do i stick with what i know best or can somebody recomend a cracker in Spain, cheers!
Hi Paul.
If you like resorts with places to visit and lots to do within short distances and want to be away from the Ibiza/Torremolinos crowds and also want a lovely resort surrounded by forests in 'Spain' then I'd suggest http://www.sollernet.com/indexen.html in Mallorca.
There is some stunning scenery close by eg Sa Colabra and with a hire car you could explore the villages nearby (eg Deia) and then go and look at the areas around Alcudia in the north and down to Andratx and Portals Nous in the south - to people watch in the posh harbours there! Myself and 'Mrs jonscz' have just returned after a great week exploring the place. As I hadn't been to Mallorca since I was a kid (MANY years ago!) I wasn't sure what to expect, and thought most of Mallorca would be like Magaluf, but how wrong I was - there are loads of fantastic places to visit (and loads of great local markets to explore) and I would imagine that you'd find plenty to do with a 'busy 3 year old'.....!
Just my 2p worth.

Mallorca is the Spanish (proper) spelling.
