I will be going to Edinburgh/East Lothian next week with swmbo and my 3 year old daughter. Where should go/eat that is family friendly?
Thanks in advance

Italian would be the default. Try Centotre or Vittoria's. Browns is child friendly too. Chez Jules is good as is Dogs. It won't be a problem anywhere apart from proper boozers and posh / Michelin starred places. You'd be eating early with a 3 years old anyway. These are all in the centre of town. East Lothian I don't know apart from the chippy in North Berwick smile

Thanks we are staying near North Berwick. Any ideas of good places to visit that are different?

Concorde at the Museum of Flight. Myreton Motor Museum. Climb the signal tower at Drem / Chesters (not with a 3 yr old though). North Berwick Law. Tantallon Castle. Seacliff beach. Yellowcraigs beach.
Fish and chips from the NB Fry.
Get pissed and walk along the harbour wall at NB at four in the morning in a raging storm. Ahem smile
