Hi

My lad wants us to do a dad and son thing in May half term and go camping in the FoD. The idea would be to get dropped off by Mrs O some 15 miles from a campsite and hike there with our gear.He is 13 and is in the ACF so loves all this kind of thing...just as well as he can carry the heavy stuff! Good practice for a growing lad smile

Anyone any suggestions? I seem to recall great camping holidays in Symonds Yat when I was a nipper (but nostalgia may be clouding my memory on this hehe )

Thanks - that looks promising

Did you do any walking around the area at all?

Yes, mainly to the pub and back tongue out

It's good walking country, Offa's Dyke Path is less than a mile away.
