Anyone know if there is any sites similar to laterooms.com for the US??
Google isnt much help when it recognises you are in the uk
I use Hotwire.com, but it isn't any good if you want to know the exact Hotel name/chain before you book. There are ways of finding out though, through the BetterBidding forum.Google isnt much help when it recognises you are in the uk

use http://biddingfortravel.yuku.com/ to see what hotels are in the area you will be staying in, as when you bid on Priceline you could end up in 1 of 5 hotels and you wont know till you have placed a successful bid what one it will be.
Good place for printing coupons that you can use for 'walk-in' offers is http://www.roomsaver.com/
You can get the actual booklet from outside Diners / supermarkets when you are over there, too.
