Hotels in Luxembourg...
Discussion
We are going for a long weekend to Luxembourg in June (music festival) and just wanted to know if anyone has been?
If anyone here has been, would you suggest any hotels? Criteria are:
Must have parking
Preferably English speaking staff
No more than 5-10 miles outside Luxembourg city at the furthest
Also, any places we NEED to go and see? Restaurants we need to eat at?
Thanks for any help in advance

Cheers for the reply
Well unfortunately, couldn't get barely ANY time of work around then, got 24th and 27th off so will be driving there Thursday night/Friday morning and returning during the day on Monday.
Not decided on price per night, but its 3 nights. £500 absolute maximum? It is a joint birthday celebration and Rock-A-Field is one of the present from my girlfriend.. lol She bought tickets and said 'now get us to Luxembourg' so we are driving

The hotel I was thinking of booked their last rooms for that w/e <2 hours ago!
Have a look at booking.com for,
Hotel Parc Belle Vue
superior double incl b/fast is €357 for 3 days
parking's payable at €17/day
or
Albert Premier
superior double is €306 for 3 days
parking's payable at €19/day
BOTH are a (very) short walk to the town centre, which has a few open squares, plenty of restaurants with terraces, etc., and have good public transport links to other places.
Luxembourg's a lovely place to walk around, down in the Grund (few pubs there too!) and around the newly redeveloped Rives de Clausen in Clausen.
- check out some good restaurants in Rives de Clausen too: Le Sud & Ikki, as it's a special occasion weekend
- also, 'RAF' organisers run shuttle buses to/from Roeser where 'RAF' is held
.... I'm waiting for a colleague to let me know about the buses (I don't use them), so will post back about that
No issues with languages in Luxembourg. Almost all in bars, restaurants, hotels speak and/or understand english as it's a multicultural population.
ENJOY Rock-A-Field!
ETA: 'RAF' tickets also cover public transport to/from the event. Take the train from Luxembourg Gare to Bettembourg and the organisers run shuttles all day/night to get people to/from the site. The bus from the town centre (Centre Hamilius) to the Gare (also a level walk in 10 minutes) will also be free with the RAF ticket.

I'd forgotten about that place!
Hotel Parc Beaux Arts is in the old town and really is only across the street from the Palais Grand Ducal. It's a boutique hotel and is directly opposite an ex-pat hangout, The Tube!
The location's probably better than the other 2 I suggested, so for the prices quoted on booking.com, go for that Hotel Parc Beaux Arts ... so much for asking a local, eh?!
*hangs head in shame*
You can walk downhill to the Rives de Clausen from there, and also through the old town downhill to the Grund too. Go for it!
Don't forget some decent walking shoes - and that it gets bloody hot here at that time of year!
