Cheap flights to Las Vegas for my 30th ???
Discussion
Sorting out a trip to Las Vegas for my 30th at the end of the year. Had a quick scan at flights and they all appear to be £800+ which seems quite expensive.
MAN is my local but can fly from LHR if needs be. Anyone know the best carrier or indirect mix to get a flight cheaper than the £800 they are all coming out with? Any help and advice appreciated - obviously the cheaper the flight the more we can spend at the tables :-)
cheers

Taking into account your other thread about hotels in vegas.
I booked a holiday to Vegas in December, flying in a fortnights time (woooo!)
7 nights, going from MAN - JFK - Vegas, ditto on return.
Price included all insurance and MAN parking.
Total: £645
Staying at Imperial (which I appreciate isn't the best,) but it's on the strip and has clean beds/ showers; which is all I want from a hotel.
Not to mention the car showroom on 3rd floor - 100 rare and classic cars, woo!)
Found this at lowcostholidays.com
It's an online company with very helpful (or so I found) telephone-based customer services.

Just did a search on www.opodo.co.uk for Dec 2nd to 7th
[American Airlines] American Airlines --- £ 569 GBP
[US Airways] US Airways --- £ 573 GBP
[DELTA] DELTA --- £ 669 GBP
[KLM] KLM --- £ 670 GBP
[United] United --- £ 707 GBP
[bmi] bmi --- £ 717 GBP
[Continental Airlines] Continental Airlines --- £ 720 GBP
[British Airways] British Airways --- £ 721 GBP
[Iberia] Iberia --- £ 729 GBP
[Lufthansa] Lufthansa --- £ 737 GBP
All had stops and varied in length but gives you an idea. Direct LHR-LAS with BA is £669 so only £50 for the connecting flight return from MAN-LHR.
Have a good check of the times of any stops though as you can easily waste half a day of your holiday extra sat in an airport waiting for connecting flights.
