Driving back from Swiss Alps
Discussion
Will be driving back from the Swiss Alps tomorrow.. Lauterbrunnen to be precise..
Can anyone recommend somewhere to visit for a pit stop around half way..
Route is reasonably flexible, although would prefer total drive time to be less than 9hrs..
We've got a hotel booked in Calais.. so can get there quite late..
Already been to Luxembourg, Stuttgart (to visit Mercedes and Porker), Black Forest, so not interested in going to these places again..

Reims. You'll have broken the back of the journey, plenty of restaurants to choose from, and you can have a cheeky look at the old race circuit too
Good advice, I've stayed in Reims a few times when driving to/from the Swiss Alps. I'd definitely stay there rather than Calais.
