It certainly was an acheivement - but an absolute nightmare when she found out, especially as I had told her that I was working the day she saw me sitting at the traffic lights on the Seafront

Did i get some grief!

Tried to blag her that it wasnt mine - trouble is she had found a receipt for the deposit I had paid on the car in one of my jacket pockets!!!

Couldnt really get out of it!!

she was - cost me a new kitchen to keep the peace that weekend, and a new car the following weekend


Morale of this story:

1. Dont buy/own a sportscar for eight months without telling the missus.
2. If you ignore the above - DONT GET CAUGHT!

Got one of those in the village, belongs to a guy who does automotive re-upholstering.

Sounds pretty naughty too. Thrust and I are now used the bassey throbb of a blackpool V8, as there're more common than his Punto (or so it would seem) around Cambridge.

That Marcos is more along the lines of the Diablo I see most mornings going the other way on the way to work from Burwell, resplendant in the rudest purple possible...
..if your gonna have one, it might as well be rude!

was that parked at oulton park for the BTCC earlier in the year or the GT's a few months ago, all i rmemember is seeing a gorgeous mantis at oulton this year! (brain like a siv!)
