Marcos Mantis to the USA?
Discussion
So...I'm drawn to the Mantis now that they are importable thanks to being 25+years old. I've being thinking TVR Griff as well but think the Marcos may not be as needy a mistress.
Wondering...reliability (Ford engine gives me comfort) and how prone the chassis to rot. How does it compare to the TVR in terms of neediness?
I see that Redline will convert them from convertible to coupe. Thoughts?

I have a 1997 Mantis and most of the issues with it have been more cosmetic and electronic related rather then anything else.
Seems to be robust enough. Griffs should also be fairly robust as they are the Rover engine.
The chassis on the TVR would be easier to do as not glued down like the Mantis
