Is your address linked to your credit rating?

That's not exactly what I wanted to ask - but the thread title is only so long.
Following on from the 192.com thread, someone's comment made me think, and I thought I might put it to the collective brains.
I run a campsite, which allows people to stay on there long term - a mixture of folk working away from home and those who prefer to not have a home. They are not gypsies.
Anyway, he's put our address down for places, which annoyed me a little bit - 1) he should have asked, and 2) he could have put 'name of caravan site' instead of my address.
Should he default on a loan or what have you, might that affect my credit record? What other nasty things could befall? Is there a reason to make him change it?

It also misses out large parts of your credit history that lenders have available to them and will constantly try to sell you entirely made up 'credit scores' which are meaningless.
