A very good mate of mine has a complete lack of confidence and is still unwise in the ways of the woman despite being well over half the way to claiming his pension.

We gave up some time ago trying to help "Bob" as he wouldn't help himself. We've tried all the obvious stuff, and a mate even took him to a house of ill repute but he bottled it.

He is NOT gay and has swapped spit with a member of the opposite sex a couple of times when very drunk. He ain't too bad looking (my wife tells me - ehem) but he is only interested in confident page3 looking types who don't seem to be drawn in by his standing at the edge of the dance floor starring like a rapist approach.
