Alton towers

I am planning on taking RR Junior to Alton Towers thursday 14th July.

This is the day after his school closes and about a week and a half before state schools close.

Anybody know how busy it is likley to be, I am worried it will be packed with school trips.

Most likely will be, sadly, and also, someone posted on here about it recently, it seems to have raised prices a fair bit, including i think, £6 for car parking. However, i am sure RR junior will love it, just be prepared for long queues

It will be absolutely rammed with kids. When I was at school we'd go on a trip to Alton towers during the last week, and we were not the only ones, it seemed like every school in the area had the same idea.

If you are indeed a Russian Rocket scientist could you not get one of your rich comapatriots such as Mr Abramovich to hire the whole place for you exclusively?

Or queue with the rest of us plebs?

Or better still you spend the day in the bar while RR jnr goes to play on the rides.
