Work - presentation... help

Ive been chosen to give a 30 min presentation.
3 things you didnt know about me.....
Now frankly Im quite boring I watch a lot of sport, go shopping, have holidays thats it.
Anyone got any advice here....its a 1/4rly formal meeting and the slot is seriously 30 mins, there is no way I can pad any of this out.
Good news is I have a couple of weeks but I'm totally stumped.
(oh and it is specifically NOT about work its a "getting to know you" thing).
Last time (and the first time it was done) the two people chosen had really good things to talk about - one had done the des sables marathon, been in the Oxford v cambridge boat race and had twice been stuck overseas with the ash cloud.
The other person had a very interesting life from being a model when young to getting into accountancy to starting up her own business as well as playing brass instruments over the world in concerts (photo evidence)
Really need some help here.

could be tricky as I know you like a brother.
If in doubt make something up:
You once saved an old lady from a mugger, was trapped in a lift for 6 hours with a drunk and flirty Kate Moss, beat Lewis Hamilton on a stag do karting session whilst smashed on vodka redbull, survived a 100 foot fall from cliff, was kidnapped and then escaped anti-government guerilla's in a central African republic etc.
I'm sure you can do better than that but you get the gist.
Or if you want there to be a grain of truth just take one of your mates' best stories and claim it as your own.

If that's the "one" thing, there are bound to be others.Remember what you consider a normal part of your life might be rocket science to someone else.
Consider places you've been...and then bolt on how you got there or why you were there.
What film genre do you like and why? That says a lot about someone.
If there's nothing obviously "interesting" (and I'm still betting there is) find something mundane but present from an angle that makes it interesting.

Half an hour is a long time to listen to stuff like that.

However, I agree with G. I've never worked for a big company and for the life of me, I can't imagine what use knowing some "interesting" tit-bits about one's collegues is in any aspect of doing business. Other than the dreaded team building mumbo-jumbo.

Some memories
I did win the Karting championship one year on a works event - have pics (somewhere).
I've done banger racing (prepared my own car - it was totally ruined as a road car and there happened to be a local banger race so i took part (must have been 15+ years ago though). No photo evidence and cannot recall the name of the event - probably never on the web either back then.
Stripped a Maestro to the shell and repaired/replaced all the necessary parts engine totally stripped (gearbox not as that was in fine working order), braking system totally stripped with new pipework for the brakelines.
(all very car orientated).
In my youth - won my county tennis tournament & the local schools tennis tournament.
Played Rugby as a Flanker and number 8 until I tore my achillies tendon badly (on a "night out scuffle")
Golf Handicap a solid 28.... but have managed two tricky par 4's on par with two fluke chip in's from 40 yards out, plus managed a drive straight and true distance of 276 yards.
Used a friends Decks in Uni and with his help managed to mix a whole CD's worth of House music - thought it was pretty good... not too bad with Hindsight.
Skiing - have been on snow a number of times and have never fallen...touch wood. Be that too much ability or not pushing myself hard enough hard to say.
Have been a landlord running many houses over the last 15 years - and an active landlord not one where the agency manages them. Bought houses in disrepair and brought them up to std to rent with some help where required from professional traders. All while holding down a full time job.

Beefy, I think you could have them in stitches for half an hour with your tales of mean-ness. You know, not having teabags for visitors, your friends have to bring their own (which you then dry out and keep), etc etc. How much this saves you per year (before tax, natch), and what this saving will provide in your retirement
