Abbey Road webcam - madness

Just stumbled across this

watched for a minutes - amazed that no one's been run over even in that short time. People stand at the crossing waiting for the best time to walk across and have their picture taken - traffic sometimes stops, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes traffic stops but no one walks across - or they walk across REALLY slowly to the obvious annoyance of the motorist.

Addictive. A never ending stream of window lickers dicing with death in the face of locals who are clearly fed up to the back teeth with these idiots. I particularly like the way busses and taxis don't even pretend to slow down for the crossing when people are on it.

Just watched a family of 4 cross the time half a dozen times over 10 minutes in an effort to get 'that photo' just looked like idiots, nearly got run over a few times, they also looked confused by bicycles.

It's quite amusing watching a bus steam towards the cross as the fools who are standing there scatter out of the way. Bet it gets irritating if you use that road regularly during the day.
