I think you can talk about a "bag o sand" (e.g. I'll give you a bag o sand for that stty MX5 guvna), but it really doesn't work with multiples (e.g. I'll give you 60 bags o sand for your 996 GT3 RS).

Imagine multiple monkeys - yeah, I'll chuck you 3 monkeys for that big television...or would that need to be a bag o sand and a monkey????

I'll give you 60 bags of sand for a 996 GT3 RS, of course Monkeys are harder to come by, I know a zoo though!
