OK, it's a day late, but I was working Christmas Day, but I have just received a gift from my folks that I consider to be the best present I've ever had. smile

It came in an innocuous DVD package, and funnily enough did actually contain a DVD..

..but it also contain a voucher for a 1hour trial flight in a gyrocopter! woohoowoohoowoohoo

The 1st 1/2hr is being shown what it can do and being given a joy-ride, 2nd 1/2hr I'll be flying it myself! bounce

I've only ever been up in a small plane, a Cessna that I went up in, then jumped out of smile

Going up into the skies in what is effectively a flying bathtub is going to be awesome...

So what cool presents did you lot get this Christmas?

The 2 people who each won £3,823,121 on the Christmas Eve lotto probably had a very good Christmas as well!

It will be fun. I have an american commercial gyroplane licence, just can't afford to buy and fly my own one!
