Hello,

I am in the need for some new glasses. Can anyone recommend some good 'top end' suppliers of designer frames, either t'internet or high street. If the latter commutable from Oxfordshire would be good.

Price range is anywhere from £200+

thanks.

I've had Silhouette specs for years. They're rimless. I get them from my local independent optician.

I've got a really nice pair that everyone comments on. Very well made, comfortable and take 10 yrs off me. Unfortunately, they were only £115 so of no use to you.

So peculiar to state a minimum of £200. What happens at £200 that doesn't happen at £180?

Very strange indeed.

Silhouettes are nice, as stated, as are Oakleys, but it all depends on what style you're looking for. Your prescription also has a bearing on how nice the specs will look when they're made up. Do you mind saying what it is?

it's hardly a predefined absolute limit you muppet!

if you think it's good I'll look at it, but typically I spend around £200-300 on a pair of glasses. Is that ok with you?

I have absolutely no idea what my prescription is! But they aren't thick lenses.

Bit like Silhouette above. Have whatever shape lenses you like.

Have often been told how good they look nerd
