sending a car part to Spain

wit weighs 3kg

been quoted £45 with no cover from Parcelforce

and £129 from DHL

parcels2go is coming up at £24

i;ve never sent anything through parcels2go before, just want to know are they a legit company and has anyone any problems with them.?

I heard they are cheaper because they use an account with the big companies?

I've used them before with no problems - they are an aggregator/wholesaler representing many individual courier firms.

When ebay'n I generally use interparcel-it's like a price comparison website & they show up some very cheap options.

Couple of times I've been let down by the driver not turning up but they sort it out for a next day pick up.

Same here, although the incident was eventually resolved.

In summary, parcel was delivered to incorrect address, many emails / phone calls (and a stressful weekend) later, the parcel made it to the correct destination. (5 days late)

Only got results after going straight to the "top" bypassing "support".

For peace of mind probably best to select a name-brand courier from the options presented by Parcels2Go, not the cheaper no-name options. I have used CityLink a few times with no issues.

I've used them for wheels to the US with no issue.

Also used these with good results:

Yeap, I've used them loads of times to book deliveries with Parcel Force, DHL, TNT much cheaper than going direct.

Another satisfied Parcels2Go customer here.

I've used them a number of times to sell classic car parts etc and never had a problem. Everything I've sent has been collected from me as arranged and delivered on time and in good condition.

I do keep in mind that if something goes wrong it will be with the courier, but my contract is with P2G. They are so much cheaper than going direct to the individual courier companies (benefits of volume?) that I am willing to risk that potential aggravation.

Seems like a decent price for the service, what ever you do avoid Yodel (Terrible at damaging everything)

Where are you based? No way it should cost more than £10.

We stopped sending parcels to Spain full stop . They were collected on time by dhl , through parcels2go but would either take too long to get to the customer or would just disappear in Spain.
We sent several thousand parcels through parcels2go and they only lost one.
Another courier was used as they were cheaper but they went out of business.

I've used them loads of times and only had problems with people saying "it never turned up" that turned out to "no answer left a note" x 10... Grrrrr!

I can HIGHLY recommend Parcel2ship (http://www.parcel2ship.co.uk/)

We've just moved to Austria, sent 20 boxes, all 30 KGs, all arrived within 3 days of being sent. Great customer service. I have to move a few more bits out here and we are going to use these guys again.

Only thing I would say is that the standard compensation limits with P2G are fairly low, this caused me a nightmare recently when some springs went missing. Luckily they turned up otherwise I would have been nearly £200 out of pocket.

Parcel2Go - excellent

Also try Transglobalexpress - worked out cheaper than the above to Australia

P2G are OK, I found Interparcel better but they've since become more expensive.

We Transglobal for a lot of stuff and they're pretty good, generally better on price.

Heard bad things, but used myself a few times and had no problems! Plus no on here seems to hate them too much... if it's your first time with them, you can get some cashback through Quidco smile
