At short notice I've had to change my plans and want to do something for my birthday; original plan was to go surfing but weather and surf reports say otherwise.

Obviously I love my cars, keen on planes, music and modern art too...the weather is the biggest obstacle so probably something under cover is best :O)

I'm based in Hertfordshire so anything upto a hundred odd miles away is fine.

Any ideas guys and gals?

Hertfordshire is bang next door to London, so you could do the RAF Museum in Hendon during the morning, Tate Modern in the afternoon and see a band in the evening.

That's a good shout. If you go to the Bedford one they have an F1 simulator too.

Go ice skating? Can be a laugh if there's a bunch of you who haven't done it before!

Well thanks to Efbe I did this! Did 3 lots of 2minute 'flights' and it was cracking - the at the end of 2 of them I did the formation whirl with te instructor - the skills they have are amazing and it was a brilliant experience :0)
