Friends Mugged in Spain

It seems a lot of my friends have been mugged in Spain this week.
Hopefully they have now received the 'Travelers Check' I sent and I will order a new 'cell phone' for them when they return from their 'vacation'

How are you doing? This has had to come in a hurry and it has left me in a devastating state. My family and I had a visit to (Spain) unannounced some days back for a short vacation, unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed,all cash, cell phones and credit cards were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.

We've been to the Embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves tomorrow but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills. Please I really need your financial assistance..Please, Let me know if you can help us out?

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, my family and I came down here to Madrid, Spain for a short vacation,unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed all cash,credit card and mobile phone were stolen off us but luckily we still have our passports with us.

Should be in the Lounge , but yeah, we had one of these at work from one of our bosses who did happen to be away abroad at the time.

i work for leeds city council and often a part of my job is answering emails etc as well as a lot of other things, lost count how many of these ive received at work yeah like lcc highways dept is going to do anything....

Tell them to sneak out of the hotel fire exit.

edit: remind them to avoid the park of the hotel, shady types around there

Two different sets of friends of the family (wife's friends etc) have been mugged in Spain in the last month. One gang looks around for seriously drunk teenagers and offer to help them out and get them back to their apartments. They then steal the lot and have hours before anyone raises the alarm! Sneaky tactics, but works well.

My mate Gerry emailed me to say he'd had his daughter nicked.







Think it might have been a scam though .
