Cad and The Dandy suits

I have two C&D suits. Both of these are the fully hand stitched version, and I'm very happy with them. They are a massive step up from anything I have bought off the shelf (including Boss, Ted Baker etc etc, which I have had adjusted to fit better). The C&D suits also prompted some good comments from business associates etc, which is unusual. "Where did you get that suit, looks sharp" kind of thing. So they must be doing something right.
If you have only ever bought off the shelf, the C&D suit will, for a start, fit you. The jacket will feel structured and less one dimensional (also feels heavier due to the full canvas!). Don't expect the kind of machined "perfection" from an off the shelf suit. There is a more hand made feel to the suits. You may need some tweaks to get it exactly right but its an enjoyable process and the result is much more organic.
You will be paying between £1k and £1300 for the fully hand stitched version, depending on two or three piece. On Saville Row you can pay much more if you want - whether the results are any better I cant say; they may be, but then I have no complaints with my C&D suits. I may try another local tailor for my next suit, but that is only out of curiosity and as a means of comparison.

I know this thread is a few years old, but I am looking at getting a suit from Cad and the Dandy.
How did you get on? Were you pleased with the finished article?
Is it best to go to the City or Savile Row location or no difference?
After many months of trying on ill fitting off the peg suits, I feel it's time to take the plunge!
