As per title. With Christmas coming I am doing a lot of my shopping on eBay. Stepdaughter also has access so can see what has been bought. Is there anyway of hiding recent purchases so that she does not get to see her pressies?

Or you could log out of eBay at the end of each spending spree?

Logging out won't work, if she knows your userid, she can still check out your profile for past purchase activity and feedback.

My brother didn't log out of his ebay session once when he used my laptop, I set it to watch a whole heap of ladies knickers in the biggest sizes I could find, proper apple-catchers.

How was I to know he shared an ebay account with his Mrs?

hehe

I use the archive, she will need to go looking for them then.

Best you can do I think.

Don't worry, if it's ebay, there's only a 50% chance it will turn up anyway. wink

Archiving doesn't help. I tried this but it also flashes up recently purchased items on the home screen. I got caught out trying to hide an expensive bike light by this.

You can set your history to private, I did it few years ago when buying presents for family members. I can't remember how to do it now, just search the help.
You just can't sell anything whilst your history is private.

Change your password as much as you like.

It's your username you'll need to change.

I thought that on the front page, near to where recently viewed items are shown you could select "Clear recently viewed items."
