What have you won?
Discussion
Really this thread is off the back of another member who's won a comp.
Whilst i was reading through the post's i thought it does bring a warm smile to my face when someone win's something...so .....what have you won?
Ps this is also because i had kept a scratchcard for 3 months as i kept forgetting to claim my 4 quid..only to pop into Tesco's this morning to be told actually the numbers had to amount to 10, not be over the number 10!

Over 5 or 6 years, I easily spent the equivalent of the price of a decent house, pointlessly chasing other motorbikes around various UK race tracks - but for my 250 odd grand expenditure over those years, I did win a whole shelf's worth of fairly crappy, plastic and metal trophies - does that count?!!
Heh, lol etc....other 'racers' will get the irony
But in terms of winning stuff - nothing at all from any competitions, ever...
Although my one victory of this ilk is writing a letter to 'Performance Bikes' magazine around 5 years ago, which the then editor Tim Thompson deemed was worthy enough to be 'letter of the month.'
In return, I received a rather fabulous radio-controlled motorbike...which was pretty cool, and I still have on a shelf above my desk - in fact I'm looking at it right now, and thinking that it is long overdue that I must charge it up again tomorrow and go out and be a child in my street again for much lulz

As a young bachelor I won an 8 Ft high Christmas stocking, filled with hundreds of small cheap toys, of the type loved by kids under 10, & men over 60. With not even relatives or friends with kids, I spent some time finding the orphanage/kids shelter place catering to the right age, & donated it to them.
For the next 5 years they sent me letters, asking for another.

£4,000 in a slot machine just before Xmas! It had turned £40 into £3 in about two minutes and I was cursing myself for my stupidity when it hit!
