Anyone ever done it? Attempted one?

A serious one, I mean - not stuffing the most baked beans up your arse whilst whistling the Addams family theme.

I'm planning an assault on one in the next year (hopefully) and, having read through some past attempts, I am in awe of some of the stuff that humans choose to put themselves through to be considered 'the best' at something.

I spelt it how I sung it my brain. Apostrophes for the mistake.

I thought I must be close to the world record when I flipped and caught 32 beer mats in one smooth but fast movement.I was drunk at the time which made it even more impressive, and it was in front of witnesses, some of whom were not drunk.

Then I found out the record is 127 or something so I thought fk it.

Most world records these days are group ones.
Most people to do *thing* together.

Individual records are hard to beat.
Most require you to be an olympic sportsman or a lunatic.

In fact, they don't actually accept a lot of attempts for some records these days because they are so dangerous.

Oh, and it can cost about £8k to get an official to come and authenticate your attempt.
And without one they often fund readons to not accept your results.
Because they are bds.

Dam, I've always assumed my 21 from a few years back was a world record!

I've found this in the course of my prep! I don't know what i was expecting to be honest, but they've quoted £7500 for the bronze package!! God knows what silver and gold are!

Best to do one of the charity 'most' affairs.

We set the world abseiling record of Twickenham a few years back.
