Objects that your life would suck without.

I lived without a fridge for a few months. I'd just moved into my first rented property and I assumed a fridge was included and didn't have the money for one in my first pay cheque. The kitchen was in the shade and the room was constantly freezing cold so within reason most food was fine being left in cupboards. I was eating fairly healthy at the time though. Pretty much all meals were mostly veg and tinned tuna.
I think a microwave is high on the list of things I couldn't live without. That and a washing machine. Dragging clothes to a laundrette is a proper ball ache.

I'd say a car. Whilst I am a geek of a high degree and like my iPad and Smartphones, I can quite happily give them up, and if we got to a point in the world where the internet and other communications shutdown, we'd still need to get about, hence a car.
I didn't say 'a form of transport' because even in the apocalyspe I still wouldn't take the bus

The first things I moved in to my house were a katana and my TV.
I often sit in front of the TV staring at the katana.
It is entirely uneccesary, but its the last non-essential thing I'd give up.
The thing before that would be the most dog-eared of my two copies of "Good Omens".
