Halloween - how to deal with the thugs

I'm usually out of the country or at my house in a civilised part of the world. This year I can't avoid being at my house that is for 364 nights quiet and peaceful but since this American trend of extorting money using menaces has become accepted in this battered island of ours, I will be subjected to the offspring of the unwashed and uneducated knocking at the door threatening to do bad things if I don't cough up money or sweets.

Other than answering the door stark naked to scare the fkers off ( or piss themselves laughing) what is the accepted way of dealing with these sts?

Are there any really crappy sweets to get rid of them with?

Our way of dealing with Halloween is that we have a village system whereby the parents have a previously agreed list of houses where our villages children can trick or treat. It avoids our kids being shocked by naked men like the op with his mustard sweets....

Either ignore the knock at the door or answer it and give them a few pence worth of sweets.

Why seek revenge on a bunch of kids?

Usually turn off a lights that face the street and shut a windows and curtains so no light. If your driveway is uninviting they wont come up it.
Other wise just dont answer the door and dont sit so that you can be seen from the front door.

Rig up a large stereo just inside the door and play a recording of a large angry dog.

Or buy a large angry dog.

Or sit behind the door and making angry barking noises.

Inconsiderate Indians let off fireworks late at night on Diwali (which I am assuming is what you are talking about).

Lots of inconsiderate white people let off fireworks late on bonfire night.

I put a sign on the door. Very polite asking them to respect our peace. Seems to have worked a few years in a row.

not racist at all, and I happily speak like this in "real life". they are low life drug dealing tts and have been the bane of my life for the last 3 years.

white chav tts do exactly the same also, but I live in the islamic republic of tower hamlets and there are none of them here.

I used heavy duty thick cable ties to lock my gates shut last year. Brilliant because the half wits were soooo confused with the magical gate that wouldn't open even though there didn't appear to anything keeping it shut. Also fun watching them headbutt the gate and walk away checking if anyone had seen them defeated by a gate

We have a healthy mix of young kids and old duffers alike, so my village has a code for Halloween - pumpkin outside, fair game to knock and get some sweets.

Most of the oldies also take part!

I know it's been done before, but OP - this might keep some of the kids away....
