I'm afraid Santa has been arrested and taken in for questioning as part of operation Yewtree.

My nearly 5 year old logically figured it out. "He's magic!" simply won't cut it.

His accuser wishes to remain incognito.

On the other end of the spectrum, my oldest is just under 3 so this is the first Christmas that he really can appreciate the story. He keeps wanting to put out carrots and water for the reindeer just incase they come early!
Wife and I are really looking forward to it!

He's 9 , so we've had a good run. It was time but I guess it s a shame that innocence has to end.
It'll be "how are babies made" next smile

As long as he doesn't tell his little sister the answers to either yet mad

My daughter realised he didn't exist when I came into her room with the stocking and exclaimed "st she's still awake"; she tells the story all the time come Christmas, I can't remember how old she was however she's 14 now.

Our girl (aged nearly 7): "Johnny at school says that Santa is just made up by his mummy and daddy, but *I* know he's real."

Our boy (8) is worried how Santa will deliver a fish. He's been working out the safest way.

I ***kin' love Christmas.

Why tell him?

Our Boy is 8, I can't believe he still buys it, I mean we're going Xmas shopping as a family tonight!

We've had a few close calls, some of his mates tell him it's all fake, but he won't have it, I think he just prefers to believe it now. I do go to some length though with letters from FC in the post, footprints and all that.

Partly we keep it up because it's a bit of fun for all concerned, but partly because I remember after I got the news Christmas, which for kids of course starts somewhere in May, just became a long and painful negotiation process that makes the F1 silly season look like a WI meeting.

You need a better back-story.

Aww... bless!

I love the gentle innocence of a parent thinking that his son actually believes in Santa rather than just saying so to keep the presents coming. laugh

Christmas really is a magical time. smile
