My Dad is a nightmare to buy presents for as anything he wants or needs he already has (he's currently looking for a GT3 RS but I'm not stretching that far!). Every time i ask him what he wants he just says "oh I'm not needing anything, just get me some beer".

So I thought I'd ask what other PH members have got or thought about getting for their Dad as it might give me some inspiration as there's bound to be some car related suggestions which is the safest bet really. Clothing isn't an option as any time I've bought him a jacket for the football etc he never bloody wears it biggrin

Thanks!

I have bought my old man a barrel of beer from a local brewery.
Sounds like your old man would appreciate something similar!

Nowt.

We've changed the way we buy presents this your, due to the cost and the various kids in the family being overwhelmed with presents. Each member of the family buys a present for 1 other member of the family, from the whole family.

I was drawn out of the hat to buy one of my sisters a present. My Dad is to get me a present. So, I need to ask the question in reverse. What's my old man bought me? Price limit is £20.

my dad's long standing motto is:

can't eat it, can't drink it, can't spend it: don't want it

he's the easiest person ever to buy gifts for,. however this year i will be supplementing whatever i buy with an invite/tickets/ferry/accommodation/booze to the le mans classic

Like yourself, difficult to buy for and he didn't want me 'buying him expensive presents'.

He has a couple of Seiko watches already so I figured he quite likes them ...
