If you are going to play a game at least let somebody else have a chance of winning.

I didn't get blown up in Afghanistan. I don't know if that's an achievement or not.

Either way, fair play to you, that's a decent train track running around your back. Take it easy cannon fodder, you've earned it.

All gold in the Goodwood Challenges on GT6 is the most recent achievement of mine. Quite proud of that.

wink

But in all seriousness getting into the Royal Navy, passing the fitness tests, medicals and interviews has probably been my greatest achievement so far. April 2014 can't come soon enough.

The staggeringly short amount of time it took me to get out of bed, get dressed, get the keys, get outside, get soaked and turn off the fking Volvo alarm a few minutes ago.

The picture doesn't do it justice as it runs down my side to the 6th rib. Then you can add the 10inch scar from my top of my skull to the middle of my chin. By all fairness the surgical team worked wonders once resuscitated on route to uk and then once while I was under the knife in Birmingham and the fact I'm here now and able to have the life I do I owe them a lot of gratitude. Yes I've got facial palsy now and I can't feel anything on my left side but there are more people out there who unfortunately are not here to say there story and there my hero's

As for the thread I was just wondering what people class as there best achievements. This not another my cock is bigger than yours.

i once fed pork for a muslim, it was an ingredient in the main part and i only realised when he was forking it down. he ate it as well as seconds. about 5 years later i confessed, he went mental.

waking up every day is about as much as an achievement as i can manage right now. i look forward to beating depression once and for all but its a slow and rocky road to travel.

It is my other half has it after losing a previous partner through cancer. and I've been diagnosed with PTSD and went through a stage where I would sleep in a separate room and was just very distanced with every thing but credit is due to the Army Welfare service as they were there at all times when I needed them and only now I'm able to tell people what I went through. I play football on a Saturday and only recently told them where my scars came from. Yes I have bad days and some st days but it takes time.

I don't think they do gold for treading water in your pyjamas

Now I think about it. It may well have been a bronze badge.

I came second in backstroke in the county gala when I was eight but I had to give up backstroke because my shoulder kept dislocating.
