Firstly, Where is the PH App.?I need an App. How can I get one?
Secondly, I am trying to re introduce old fashioned nursing uniforms at work. Any suggestions? I want the starched hat, the dress, the belt for the ladies. Also stockings and a slight heal - sod safety and that. They need to look good!Any suggestions? Please send me links. What colours for the sisters, the matrons and the support workers?

Sorry, got a little distracted. What were you saying?

I think the male nurses may object, some of them anyway.

this

get them old, nothing worse than being on deaths door and young nurses around, you need a stern grandmother type to help you recover.

If you didn't laugh at your patients each time they got their gown off, it'd go a long way.

I joined PH during the night. Started a thread: "Dear All. I am new. I am a nurse. Help mesmile". My thread was moved to the lounge (I think). I can therefore no longer participate in my own thread for 14 days. I will however try and answer some of the issues raised here.
1) To Stevesingo: I am 5ft 6", brown hair, love heals, and a 36G
2) Redtwin FYI: I am a real nurse, I focus very much on my nursing skills when I am at work. I qualified with distinction work in intensive care unit and I became a sister (Band 7/Nurse in Charge)within 3 years of qualifying. I have a PgCert in Public Health. I love what I do. I also love uniform (Privately educated you see-immaculate uniform was a must where I went to school).
3) Dear Easternlight: I am not "a regular" posing a nurse, I am new, also the partner of a regular
4) And for the Sprucegoose: I love the cloak, I want one!!!!

Sooo, dear all who are following my thread in the lounge keep writing. I will reply and participate in 14 days frown

I would ask for a refund on that private education. They didn't teach the difference between heals and heels, that is surely significant in your profession too?
