I had a little accident yesterday, where a lot of "sticks like sh*t" got onto my hands.

Unfortunately it really does stick like st, as it would not wash off. so i let it dry hoping it would peel off. It does not frown

I need to visit a couple of clients later so need it removed!

I have some acetone, will this work? Or any other ideas, apart from taking a orbital sander to them?

This is how bad it looks, the other is just as bad:

No, but I can recommend polythene gloves (2p each at B&Q) next time you embark on DIY ..

have you tried Manistar ? its got beads of something or other which generally works quiet well in the meantime try putting a little salt in with washing up liquid or similar ?
failing that, Panel wipe or acetone I would say, look for and avoid any cuts you may have first of course !!

"little accident"?
It looks like you were trying to use it as a lubricant!

Sugar and washing up liquid? It might be a bit stubborn for that though.

Pretend you have leprosy and spend a day messing with people. I used to have psoriasis and told people all sorts of things. Scabies. Necrosis fasciitus. Some of the looks were priceless. But anyway, I digress, Fairy liquid and salt should shift it. Cellulose thinners is good for shifting stuff too. Both with sting cuts like hell.

I always use white spirit for getting most stuff off,if you've got any cuts though prepare to bang your head on the ceiling.

I have bathed my hands in hot water, salt and fairy liquid for about 30 mins now, then dipped them in acetone.

The acetone seems to be drying it completely out, and it seems to be rubbing/scraping off reasonably well, at least on the top of the hand.

I will keep at it!

Oh and it bloody stings like fk, when acetone hits a cut!!!
