Not sure how far out of context this has been taken, if at all, but I think she is absolutely disgusting for making the comment that if she had a teenage daughter she should be out 'getting drunk'.

Revolting specimen.

What a ridiculous outburst regarding comments from a very famous actress that had difficult teenage years suggesting she might want her daughter to grow up like a normal teenage girl.

It will have been taken out of context.

Oh dear. A comment like that has angered you to the point of "absolutely disgusting" and "disgusting specimen"

Sad

Get a fking grip, seriously. So you don't know "how far out of context it has been taken, if at all" but you are still happy to judge her on the worst possible interpretation.

Do you read the Daily Wail by any chance.

She did say that teenagers should go and get pissed out of their minds and be stupid which, all in my humble opinion, is not the sort of example anyone needs to set to children who think her opinion is actually worth listening to.

I would say teenage years should be done privately. You should be going out and getting unbelievably drunk, getting into ridiculous situations, making mistakes. That's what that time of life is about, and we should do that privately - 1 million trillion zillion percent.
Completely agree. What's the issue?

Is the OP trolling?

It'll be another of those threads where OP doesn't show their face again as they have realised they sound like a bit of a dick!

I along with about 95% of my friends spent my teeneage years (from about 14) trying to get our hands on booze, having parties, out doing stupid things & not telling our parents.
It's all part of growing up & how you learn.

I've no idea what KN actually said but she's not far wrong, it's what teenagers do.

Can't see an issue with that personally. I'm sure some people just feel the need to be morally outraged for the sake of it. Or they have a seriously miserable youth.

I'm disgusted. Completely disgusted with this. Terrible. Standards here are slipping.

Context:
Elle mag said:
Keira Knightley has revealed the hardships of acting, and why she would ‘totally discourage’ her children pursuing the same career.
Chatting to ELLE magazine the actress spoke about her own experiences when the limelight wasn’t particularly fun, as well as parts of her life she wish were private.
And the quote:
"I would say teenage years should be done privately. You should be going out and getting unbelievably drunk, getting into ridiculous situations, making mistakes. That's what that time of life is about, and we should do that privately"

Hardly outrageous.
