At a recent event with the In-Laws, and what did they put up when it rained? An "Acorn Stair Lifts" Brolly!
Crikey I'm not a fashion freak, but not something I'd use (I'm surprised at them too because they live in a bungalow - still salesmen for such gear will try to sell to anyone!)
Anyway..... What brolly would you definitely leave at home - whatever the weather?

I have a Smith and Wesson umbrella. Its probably the only one in the UK. I quite like it smile

I'd probably leave my Bents Garden Centre one at home though, its a bit crap and I only have it because it accidentally got left in the car when loading it up in the rain whistle

biglaugh - As the FIL is a staunch conservative that really would be the ultimate! I don't think he noticed our reaction to his brolly..... Maybe he doesn't 'read' other peoples brolly's? A friend of our won't 'read' T shirts "in case there is something rude on them" confused

'Tactical umbrella'.

Reminds me of another thread where a guy told us of his mate defending himself with a 'tactical pen'.

How is it tactical? Surely its operational?

Do they put 'tactical' in front of it to attract the 'urban warrior' types?

Anyway I shall go back to drinking from my tactical mug...mmmm tactical tea!

Off topic

I have a fishing rucksack from a company that describes its wares as "Tactical Angling Products"

To further compound the BS. "Intelligent tackle management" If rucksack for God's sake!

Got a golf brolly

http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/10/ef/75/10...

But I think its just too big to be out shopping or in town.

I've lost count of the times I've speared someone walking around.

I had to re-route some incoming electrical services through the shop in New Oxford St. to the offices above.

You couldn't meet nicer people than those who were working in that shop.

Proper gents.
