A mate is having a blood transfusion, he said he is type O, I remembered my bloody donor card and work pass saying AB RH- which is quite rare and when I googled it all manner of weird st pops up.

Im o- too. O- is great if you're a donor(can donate to everyone), not so much as a recipient(you can only receive from o-).

Haven't a clue.
I've had a couple of blood tests but they've never told me what type I am.
My Dad has the type which can be used for a couple of different blood types so I'd like to think I am too.

Always thought about giving blood but never actually have. What's the deal if you don't know your blood type? Do they take it anyway and just test it?
