One of those days...

Go to bring our caravan home.

Stop at B and Q to get a flap wheel to take black paint off towbar. Buy velcro to fit new numberplate that goes with new car, and scissors to cut it.

Get to caravan. Discover I need scissors to free scissors from packaging. Realise that we have some in the van. Put drill bit in drill and discover battery flat. fkit, I'll replace the pads in the towhead.

Remove old numberplate and replace. Need caravan keys several times. Always not where I need them to be.

Get home. wife asks why I did not swap the number plate over. I did I say. Nope. I put the old one back on .

I'm going back to bed.

I lost the dental heating controller earlier. Turns out I'd left it on a table in the attic. There's no central heating in the attic. When I was in the attic I banged my head. Then I found my mobile was astray. I'd taken it up to the attic while arching for the central heating controller..

And so it goes on and on.
