They cost £££ in the shops but I once bought some from eBay which looked like hte genuine article but lasted 2 days max! They must be cheaper and genuine elsewhere?

Costco is the cheapest I've found. You end up buying a year's worth of blades though!

Bah! Checkout the shaving thread and move to a DE razor.
Think I bought a trial set of blades for about £10 in Sept 2014 and am still using them now, 2 packs left.
Haven't looked back.

I bought some from a "general tat" stand at Race Retro a few years back. By the sound of it they came from the same place as your eBay ones. I get them from the local Makro now, pack of 20 or 25. Still seem pricey, but cheaper than Superdrug.

I get my mach 5 blades on Ebay. Typically half the price of Sainsburys.

Amazon for me as well, seems about the cheapest option.

And another vote for this.
Yo me its a no brainer, much much cheaper and a much better shave with less chance of razor burn.

Total cost less than £30, there is about a years worth of blades there (depending on how tough your beard is and how often you shave)

I use something called the "RazorPit" blade sharpener on Mach 3 blades

I have not bought a blade in over 2.5 years, the only downside is the old blades do actually fall apart after a years use literally

The Mach 3 is a good razor and the blades last pretty well.

Yes. Then you can buy your Elastoplast in bulk from Costco!

The only reason I use gillette fusion blades is because I shave my head, I'd crap my pants using that DE thing.

I moved to DE blades some time ago.

I've also noticed that the other half has also started buying more of her pink razors - she wouldn't dare put the DE near her bits and pits.

I've got a blade sharpener too and they make any type of blade last much longer and give a better shave IMO.

I cut my self less with a DE than I used to do with a mach3.
And I no longer feel as if someone has sandpapered my face when I shave.

DE is far better. I can't remember when I last purchased a pack of blades, maybe 2013/14

Oh don't be soft, DE razors are fine for shaving anywhere. Some places more nerve wracking than others.
