I've had some crazy bargains from tescos in my younger days whilst at uni

I lived near a superstore and they were always clearing ranges of stuff for bonkers money

I remember buying Thule roof rack bits for £2 each and selling the on eBay for around 30- 50 each on eBay

That made me a small fortune

Still get the odd bargain now and then

The best one I had, and admittedly not Tesco, was a DVD offer with Sainsbury's, some 4 years ago. They had an offer of the Lord Of The Rings DVD Trilogy at £4.99, in one box. I bought 20 odd of them (all they had in) and put them on eBay at £14.99 each, sold them all in one day. £200 profit smile

I was in Tesco before Christmas & they had a little joint of ham for £3 or "3 for £9". There was a bloke in there trying to explain to his Mrs about how it wasn't a good deal, but she was having none of itlaugh

About october time I was in my local Tesco metro and saw this...

It was so shocking I had to take a picture. Seems a good deal to me.

That's a sonicare though, I thought they were expensive toothbrushes. Maybe it was reduced to £30 then knocked off 1p to look better.

Managed to pick up 2x 1 litre bottles of Castrol GTX for £0.50 each at tesco last week. No need for them but at that price it would be rude not to.

No, not £200 profit. After Ebay and Paypal fees you probably made about a fiver profit.

I bought one of these from Tesco Direct online:

The next day they gave me a complete refund. I've no idea why.
