Yeah, I'll be fine. Was looking forward to going to work tomorrow. That's probably a bit wrong.

Senior Technical Architect.

Im a nerd and I review companies infrastructure and current systems, work out ways to improve the design/architect/infrastructure, to take into account new requirements and a whole list of other things that mean the company has a system compliant with new regulations/requirements.

I enjoy it, however most people just look at me blankly when I mention anything about this.

I is a Geek/Nerd/Code monkey that dabbles in the architecture of systems.

When not doing that I develop trading platforms, or basically anything the client wants, I have no limits, only the clients imagination and what is possible with the current technology.

If I can't do it, then I hire more monkeys and the only reason I do that is usually its GUI related, I hate making things look pretty.

Cool. Sounds very interesting. I have a thing for data structures and integration. I am not a coder though. My current employer sometimes calls me a superuser, though they have not given me the exact definition of what that is supposed to be. A former colleague who is the same way was once described as a dangerous amateur, that probably fits.

No hot nurses I am afraid. Some very nice ones though.

Hopefully they will let me out soon.

Code Monkey here! ;-)

9:30pm in the USA (CST) so not late by my standards, sounds good that you have been captured by the 'quacks' now. Early detection for anything is a good thing, normally most of the diagnosis are made ‘post-mortem’.

All the best…

Just been discharged with a script for codeine and a flea in my ear. ... Which is good really.

Morpheine has worn off now, which is a pain.
