Is this a PH rule?
To apologise for using a Daily Mail link or even referring to them?

Isn't the DM just as bad or good as the usual tripe that we call the UK tabloids?

For example the number of tabloids involved in the phone hacking scandal, the number of tabloids that often have to issue apologies for their daily grabbing headlines etc. etc.

If this is an expected practice for each post then why aren't we also seeing apologies for the use of BBC content for example? The organisation that is still going through the Savile debacle and the constant pushing of left political propaganda.

The Daily Mail is possibly the worst newspaper in circulation.

People take "stories" in papers like the Sun or Mirror with a pinch of salt, but the Mail masquerades as a serious newspaper when it simply exists to instil fear in the hearts of middle England.

I do enjoy reading their website though.

And let's not forget the express, whch does a similar job but aims it all at OAPs.

Absolutely this! yes

For anyone who doesn't 'get' how the Daily Mail works, this is well worth a read.

I have a daily mail blocker on my browser, works brilliantly. I regularly turn off all the other siteblockers designed to make me more productive (eg. pistonheads) , but the DM one always stays on smile

There is no reason to ever link to the Daily Mail or to click on a link to the Daily Mail, because however interesting it sounds it's total bullst. So why waste your time. Read a page of a Jilly Cooper book and google image search 'Tits', job jobbed.

Sorry Alt F4 - comedy newspaper dressed up as respectable, but instilling fear into the blue rinsed masses. And the sidebar of shame.

Looks like you are on your own.

As others have said, at least The Sun, Daily Star, and to a lesser extent, The Mirror have a bit of a laugh at themselves.

The Wail pretends to be a serious, morally crusading and upstanding oracle railing against declining moral and social standards.......but is in reality a nasty, vindictive and spiteful rag intent on maintaining fear and disillusionment in middle-class middle England via racist, sexist bigoted made-up bullst journalism.

I fking hate it with a passion.
