Hi all,

I've had this painting for about 10 years now and as it doesn't go in our current house I was thinking of selling it. I do still like it but the Wife doesn't and as I say, it doesn't suit the house.

I bought it in Notts and I believe the artist moved to the SW somewhere...I'm thinking Devon / Cornwall. As you can see his name is Rob Watson.
Anyone heard of him or any idea how I can find out if he still paints or even exists?

Any help appreciated.

Mods, not sure if this belongs in the Lounge...but couldn't see anywhere specific to art.

If it was Gary Hunter, I could probably help.

Sorry.

I went to school with a Rob Watson. he painted like this in infants too.

plenty artist on the web with this name. could do with knowing nationality, age etc to narrow it down.

That frame is really not right for that style of picture IMHO.

Clever.

I actually quite like it but a matte white border and plain frame would work better.

Try asking this chap http://www.pspowageartgallery.com. Lovely guy and used to rent out space in his gallery to a lot of artists so may of been a tenant of his at some point.
