Stretching shoes
Discussion
I bought some new shoes.
Being the boring chap I am I bought the same pair I had before.
These shoes are causing me absolute agony. The heel area is so painful if it catches me wrong it's causing me to nearly fall over, shake my leg in a funny way and act like I have tourettes for a bit.
Whats the easiest way to break in a heal. I have a plaster on the size and thickness of a yellow pages.
I loathe to throw them away and I have walked approx 150km in them already. Still no joy.

You can have them stretched professionally, this is probably the best.
if you make a habit of this, I do, some makes of shoes seem to be smaller than others, Loakes and Barkers shoes for example are, for me, always one - two sizes too small then you can buy a wooden stretcher like this:

These work ok, but dont try and rush the stretch.
You can also buy aerosol sprays but I found them a waste of money.
