Buried under a mountain of References for my Uni Dissertation. Why is Referencing so bloody long winded and difficult to get perfect. (APA style). Rant over

Too short, lacks genuine anger and missing references. Must rant harder.

I thought there were programs/apps out there to put your references together for you now?

That 'rant', if you can call it a 'rant' which I wouldn't is precisely the reason this bloody country is going down the pan. If you can't cope with referencing an extended essay how the bloody hell is your entitlement obsessed generation ever going to survive in the real world? It's the product of an utterly soft education system, musn't offend, can't apply pressure or god forbid stress to the precious little fluffkins. It's that lack of pressure that leads to rants that are about as limp wristed as a jellfishes handshake. The WWII generation would be turning in their graves if they hadn't all been cremated by now.

Word can do it for you, along with the reference list in the end.

I did my dissertation back in 2003. As I went along, I built up the reference list. By the time I had finished, I didn't really need to do anything.

I echo the above. If you can't manage this, you shouldn't be graduating.
