Seeing as theres a "a bit council" thread I thought i'd make a bit toff thread so us peasants can get back at the upper classes (play I don't live on a council estate but live in army quarters so I'm almost there)

Using the word "potentially" all the time when something is going to happen but you think because everyone at uni said it, it makes you sound posh.

Saying Sofa instead of couch and sitting room instead of lounge
Garage not "garrige"
Ability to cook food without the use of a microwave and / or luminous sauces from a jar
Drinking tea with the spoon removed from the cup
Not taking 4 teaspoons of sugar in a cup of tea
Swearing well. i.e not "fak owf u cu*t", but rather "Oh do just fk off please" in that Hugh Grant accent

That sort of thing?

It's drawing room, sitting room is middle class - and yes we do have one. The sitting room if used as such is a snug

Edit to add. A decent sized house is a villa not a house as in " Victorian villa"

Ps all bks

That's a bit nouveau. Try Duckers in the covered market in Oxford.
