When was the last time you cleaned your shoes?
Discussion
I've a leather pair of boots and shoes that get a good polish every couple of weeks unless I scuff one or get it dirty in which case they get cleaned that day. As some have already mentioned, the ex-military part of me likes to keep my "good" shoes in a clean and polished state, but thankfully I've no requirement for bulling anymore.

Sunday nights, after ironing the weeks shirts and trousers.
That was my routine for many, many years and was part of my Sunday wind down routine. Standards have slipped though, mainly due to having lots of shirts now so I don't have to iron every week, just blitz a load of them in one go when I run out. It's quite depressing how many shabby worn pairs of £20 Brantano's you see on a daily basis.
I like nice shoes and do pay a little more for stuff like Cheany's but I mean shoes worn to the point where 2 mins with any kind of shoe polish whatsoever would make them look passable.
I don't really get it.

Strange you should mention that. Mine were in a dreadful state until I came across the shoe cleaning guy in Cheapside. A few minutes later, and a payment of about a quarter of the price of the shoes, they were shiny again!Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
