Think the stress is getting to me a little. Nothing to see just trying to vent some anger.

1) The house i have been trying to buy for the last 2 mths has now fallen through. Great. I could have bought and moved in by now instead of having to start the search process over again. On the plus side - i hated the house anyway and was expensive. Still the pains of viewings!

2) Running, not had a rest for 4 or 5 weeks and it is getting to me now. Need to get some rest in over the next week in order to improve. I have replaced junk miles with hard, fast 5ks however this is exhausting in mind & body.

3) House prices are massive so i can not buy what i want where i want. This is really something stupid to write about but it is a fact. I am getting stressed knowing that i either buy a crap house in a decent area or a nice house in a crap area. Seems like i can not have it all.

4) Need to get marathon training started again but at the moment chasing the shorter PBs.

5) Work is going well, however the project that we are all on is very stressful at the moment, with everyone tripping over each other causing delays. i.e. I can complete my work until someone else completes their work.

6) Wife is going nuts again. Wanting baby no.3 - it has been more than a few years on this same issue and it seems to be coming to head. Not sure what fate has in store for us.

And yes people are dying from starvation and living in tents my problems are undeniably small in comparisons. I hope that they find a way and that i am praying for them.

On the house subject I would think buy worst house in good area, with time & saving you can improve the house.
Best house in the worst area leaves you more worried of break in, while hoping area improves for the better, or fate forbid area goes further down hill & damages your property value. Good luck.

Perhaps that's the most relevant part of your post. Once you accept that, things often seem a lot simpler.

Agreed, but the area i want is significantly out of range in terms of price.
Harrow on the Hill

Strangely this is helping. Just seen some pics of refugees, my problems are so much less than others. I really do need to get a grip.

Take a week off work. Relax. Do nice things and reduce stress before it gets too much.

House - well, those things are a pain, but a better one will come along.
Running - be pleased you have two legs and are healthy enough to do so.

That's it for now.....

Be thankful that you have your health, family and friends. Everything else is really not worth worrying about.

Tell her that's the sure fire way to get pregnant. And wait....
