oakley juliet glasses second hand value
Discussion
I've been an Oakley fan for many years, but wouldn't say I'm a collector as such, despite having 6 pairs... I just buy new ones that I like, but keep the old ones. I have an original pair of X-Metal Mars with ruby lenses in near pristine condition from 1995, that I have been offered silly money for.
The value seems to depend on the frame and lens combination, some were particularly rare and exact spares are no longer available.

Similar situation here. Not a collector but I have got loads of sunglasses and bags/clothing as I used to be on the old friends and family scheme back when UK HQ and warehouse was in Letchworth.
I have a pair of Juliets with spare lenses that I rarely wear now but didn't realise they were so collectable.
Just wish I could find a pair of Monster Pups as I lost mine. Annoying, as I rarely lose things.

I sold a few pairs of old ones on eBay and was inundated with morons emailing me telling me they were fakes and asking me why I was selling them. I even had one fool telling me he know one pair were fake as they" didn't make the colour scheme" I was selling. I even had to get an email from Oakley confirming that combo was made.
It seems to be the kind of market that attracts lots of know it alls and time wasters.

I've got pairs of the X metal Romeos and Juliets.
The value of the Romeos is they were cast (and I think for Juliets also) so the guy at an Oakley store said in Vegas when he saw my Romeos.
Fortunately I've got the boxes, and coins for them- not that I want to sell, but they do seem to be going up in value, year on year.
