For some reason, I have to go on the radio (BBC Essex) and talk about Ed Balls day in about an hour - something to do with the commercialisation of 'days'.

It's all a bit of fun and I need to come up with suggestions for other people's 'Days'.

So, what do you suggest?

There are so many days for charities, good causes etc... What about a rare focus on selfishness 'My Day'?

Today is United Nations worker safety and health day and in many countries worker Memorial Day, but as usual in this celeb obsessed social media saturated country we know it as Ed Balls day.
Although if everyone had to wear Hi-viz it could be day-glo-day
