Bird Flu.
The experts said, it is not a case of if Bird Flu hits the UK but when. I had to do a contingency procedure on how the business would run - 8000 employees - when bird flu strikes and this included having to factor in the deaths of one in four employees.
And what a surprise when a certain pharmaceutical company were looking for funding for their new factiry and a dead swan with bird flu was found near the proposed site for the factory.
Flooding
Something that was predicted and they go right, my company was looking for new warehouse space, our architect said we should not build on low lying land even though it had never flooded, it cost more money to build at 300 feet above sea level but the site that we had chosen was flooded in 2008 and 2015 and is now uninsurable.
