Have you ever really hated anyone?

I'm a pretty easy going fella, live and let live and all that but I can think of a couple of people that I've crossed paths with that I genuinely wouldn't piss on if they were on fire, I don't feel good about it but I feel they earned it.
Is it just me?

I'm not over keen on the HIV+ Drug addict who beat my wife up while he was in Hospital and my wife was his nurse in the HDU. Not content with spitting in her face he decided to punch her 4 times in the head and face because she refused him methadone.
I still see him begging around Ipswich.
My wife is religious and forgave him, saying he might have had a reason to turn out the way he is that isn't his fault. I'm not religious and each time I see him I want to kick his head in.
At the age of 46 some might say I'm being immature, and to be honest I'm not fighter, a tough guy nor have I ever been, but the anger and hatred I feel each time I see this example of human filth puts me in a s
t mood for the rest of the day. Perhaps I really need to let it go.

I could happily go through life not even raising my voice to another human, let alone being violent or nasty, but occasionally you meet some people are such utter
