Just been looking in Home cinema & Hi fi and noticed a poster had what appeared to be a fruit bowl on display, with some actual fruit in it. Do you have one, does anybody you know have one. My mum always had/has one on display, well stocked with apples, oranges etc (courtesy of my prowess on the lathe in 4th year woodwork) but I wondered if was an 'old' people thing that's' dying out nowadays.

I got a fruit bowl. At the moment it has Oranges, Apples and Pears in it. Hanging up are a bunch of bananas and in the fridge are some cherries

We tend to spend a lot on fruit and all the family like it.

Always had a fruit bowl, it takes pride of place on the dining table; always stocked with apples, bananas, oranges, etc. Other fruit is in the fridge.

I don't consider myself old; 41.

That pear on the right is going to give me nightmares. I can't stand looking at, feeling or eating any fruit with the slightest bit of brown on it. Dunno why,I eat a lot of fruit but just can't abide the thought of it!

Work provides free fruit so I'm always taking some home but no fruit bowl.

I've got a fruit bowl. We keep fruit in it. I didn't think it was a particularly unusual thing to do.
